How to get to the hotel in Coudray, near Chartres?
The location of our hotel, just a stone's throw from the Océane, which links Paris and Nantes via Le Mans, makes it easy for you to stop. Accessible via exit n°2 of the A11 motorway, ACE Hôtel Chartres is particularly interesting for a stopover between your departure and arrival points. Be sure to visit the International Stained Glass Centre. Just a few metres from Notre-Dame Cathedral, you can discover the Maison du Saumon. This beautiful 16th century half-timbered house takes its name from the magnificent fish carved on one of the six brackets on the façade. The salmon was the sign of the shops that were located here, on the Place de la Poissonnerie. Then take the time to stroll along the banks of the Eure and discover the horticultural garden. Rich in rare species, this garden is simply marvellous. If you have some time, don't forget to visit the Château de Maintenon, one of the most important historical monuments in the region. The park and formal gardens are sumptuous and only 20 km from our hotel in Le Coudray. The Château de Maintenon is the perfect place to take pictures. We were about to forget the Maison Picassiette!
